BLADDER – Foot Tai Yang Acupuncture Meridian
BL 1 - brightens eyes, Tonify Yin
Location (jingming): 1 fen medial & superior to the inner
canthus of the eye, near the medial border of the orbit.
BL 2 - hiccup, headache, brighten eyes
Location (zanzhu): superior to the inner canthus, in a
depression on the eyebrow, close to its medial end.
BL 7 - frees the nose (sinusitis)
Location (tongtian): 1.5 cun lateral to the midline, 4 cun
from the anterior hairline.
BL 9 - headache (local pain)
Location (yuzhen): 1.3 cun lateral to the depression
superior to the external occipital protuberance (DU 17).
BL 10 - head/neck/shoulder/back pain, eye problems,
sooth sinews
Location (tianzhu): on the lateral aspect of the trapezius
muscle, 1.3 cun lateral to DU 15.
BL 11 - [Bone Hui-influential] dispel Wind, expel
exterior Heat, regulates bones/joints
Location (dazhu): 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of
the spinous process of
T1.
BL 12 - chronic Wind
