HT 1 - angina, palpitations, local pain, loosens chest
Location (jiquan):
in the center of the armpit, medial to the axillary
artery.
HT 3 - angina, palpitations, local pain, irritable,
mania/withdrawal
Location (shaohai):
at the medial end of the transverse cubital
crease when the elbow is flexed.
HT 4 - soothe Liver (sinews), Tonify Heart
blood/Yin, loss of voice
Location (lingdao):
on the redial side of the tendon of flexor carpi
ulnaris, 1.5 cun
proximal to shenmen.
HT 5 - [Connect to Small
Intestine] racing heart, sudden loss of voice, stiff tongue
Location (tongli):
0.5 cun distal to lingdao.
HT 6 - [Xi-Cleft]
clear excess or deficiency Heart Fire, Yin deficiency, cardiac pain,
vomit/nose blood, steaming bone
Location (yinxi):
0.5 cun distal to tongli.
HT 7 - [Yuan-source] insomnia, mania/withdrawal, visceral
agitation, cools Ying
Location (shenmen):
on the crease of the wrist, in the depression at the proximal border
of the pisiform bone.
HT 8 - urination problems from Heart Fire
Location (shaofu): on the palm between the 4th
& 5th metacarpal bones where the tip of the little finger
hits when a fist is made.
HT 9 - opens portals
(mind), clouding inversion, resuscitates
Location (shaochong): 1 fen proximal to the radial corner of the little finger nail.
