Gonorrhea - Lin Bing
Infection of the epitheliaum of the urethra
cervix, rectum, pharynx or eyes by the Neiseria Gonorrhoeae gram negative bacterium. The bacterium is
passed through sexual contact which has an incubation period of (2-14 days
- men) or ( 7-21 days - females) and begins with
discomfort of the urethra followed by dysuria and
a purulent discharge which is commonly green or yellow pus. The infection
will usually last 5 weeks before subsiding. The local area will become swollen, red, itchy and painful with the
local lymph nodes becoming swollen and sore. In the beginning stages
there will be frequent urination and possible xue
lin symptoms with prostritis,
fever, headache and body ache.

Syphilis is caused by the treponema pallidum spirochete which can be caused by either
direct or non-direct sexual contact. 3 stages: Primary Syphilis (painless
Ulcer), Secondary Syphilis (whole body rash) and Tertiary Syphilis
(dementia). In TCM the exterior pathogen will invade the Lung, Spleen,
Liver and Kidney which will transform to fire and is easily complicated
with damp phlegm. The disease can represent itself with chronic sores and
joint pain.
