Family: Labiatae or Lamiaceae.

Huo Xiang Properties: PUNGENT - WARM Dosage:
4.5 – 9g.

Also Used For:
In Chinese medicine, Huo Xiang/Patchouly oil is used orally for colds,
headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. It is also used orally
to treat bad breath, particularly when it is associated with alcohol
ingestion. The leaf, fruit, and flower are used to treat tumors.
In Foods and beverages, patchouly oil is used as a flavor
ingredient.
In Manufacturing, patchouly oil is used in perfumes and cosmetics.
