Ma Chi Xian

Also Known As:
Beccabunga, Mouth-Smart, Neckweed, Speedwell, Water Pimpernel, Water Purslane.

Ma Chi Xian       Properties: SOUR  - COLD                                        Dosage: 15 – 60g.

Purslane  (Portulaca)     Meridian: LARGE INTESTINE, LIVER

                  -clear toxic fire, cool blood – dysentery, lin syndrome

                  -clear damp heat, treats sores – carbuncles, red-white leucorrhea

                  -antidote – wasp sting, snakebite

Also Used For:

Orally, Ma Chi Xian/Brooklime is used for lessening the elimination of urine, constipation, liver complaints, dysentery, lung infection, and bleeding gums.
