I’m a prostate cancer patient and just heard of a study at the U of Texas reporting that phellodendron amurense (huang bai) kills prostate cancer cells in lab tests. They tested an herbal called “nexrutine.” Can someone tell me if I can make a tea from huang bai.? Also, would it be most potent to take huang bai in concentrated form in a supplement or would tea be better? How much can I take daily? Thanks for any help you may give.

Huang Bai is a very good herb used for heat clearing purpose. However prostate cancer should be
approach by using herbal formula instead. Yes! Huang Bai can be absorbed in a form of tea or
powder form. It’s a yellow herb and clears heat very well. Huang Bai can be taken for a maximum
of 12g/day.
